Michael Jordan Fail…….jk… MJ never fails….even when talking about his failure he succeeds. One of the most inspiring commercials ever…

Text

There’s a bunch of talking these days about NBA teams placing ads on their practice uniforms for the first time in history. The economic downturn is the key to this switch. In this new economic climate GM’s and the NBA itself are trying to get revenues wherever they can. I’ve read a lot of opinions, it seems that for the majority of fans and some members of the media it’s like an insult to where a uniform with an ad. They forget that they play in branded arenas, their players are ad stars and appear on cereal boxes, and the list goes on. Every league in the world (even Euroleague) accept ads on uniforms. But hey, for some americans it’s a matter of pride.

I love NBA uniforms, their design is great, yeah, maybe they won’t look so good if someday start to look ads on gameplay jerseys. But taking this as a matter of pride or tradition, that’s so american… Nobody outside USA thinks selling ads on jersey is something rare or not normal.

By the way, the NJ Nets have become the first NBA team to sign a practice jersey deal. Check it out.
